ABOUT THE WIRE

Your AI Reference is a dateline-led AI newswire in the Reuters/AP tradition. Every filing leads with a city dateline and carries a single staff byline.

Origins

Your AI Reference was founded in 2023 by a small group of wire-service correspondents and AI researchers who wanted to apply traditional newsroom discipline to frontier artificial intelligence — a category that, in the months after ChatGPT, was being covered with the cadence and the rhetoric of analyst notes rather than the cadence and the rhetoric of news.

The wire opened with a single bureau in San Francisco and a roster of three correspondents. Bureaux in Brussels and London followed in 2024. The wire now files most weekdays, with correspondents operating across multiple time zones. The full masthead is on the correspondents page.

Editorial standards

The wire follows Reuters/AP-style conventions: compact, third-person, attributed copy. Filings open on the news, then build out the supporting facts in inverted-pyramid order. There is no first person, no marketing copy and no editorialisation.

Every factual claim is traceable to a primary public source. Direct quotes are verbatim from press releases, transcripts, regulatory filings or official statements. Filings that cannot be verified are dropped; the wire does not publish near-miss reconstructions.

Corrections

Errors of fact are corrected promptly, with a dated note appended to the affected filing.

Contact

Tips, corrections and licensing enquiries reach the desk at the addresses listed on individual filing pages. The desk treats material shared in confidence as confidential, and verifies every claim against an independent source before publication.

Services

The full chronological wire is available as RSS 2.0. A sitemap lists every filing for crawlers and aggregators.
